About Our Founder
Betty Staerk, founder of Staerk Consulting Group, brings over two decades of experience in instructional design and performance improvement.
Her journey began at Six Flags Great America, where she managed recruiting, training, and operations for a seasonal staff of more than 350 employees across 30 retail stores. From there, she transitioned to instructional design at Universal Training, crafting custom programs for industries such as financial services, automotive, and insurance.
Later, as an Instructional Design Manager at McDonald’s Hamburger University, Betty was instrumental in developing a global Restaurant Management Training Curriculum, further solidifying her expertise in the field.
In 1999, Betty founded Staerk Consulting Group to help organizations improve performance through customized, effective training solutions.
An AI enthusiast, Betty is also exploring how emerging technologies can enhance training design, development, and implementation. She actively keeps on top of talent development trends and ways to integrate AI-powered tools and techniques to deliver innovative and impactful learning experiences. Her dedication ensures that the solutions she provides are both cutting-edge and aligned with the ever-changing demands of modern workplaces.
